Charterers shall only supply suitable fuels as per specifications to enable main propulsion
and Auxiliary Machinery to operate efficiently and without harmful effects. The fuel shall also be free of po- ly-props, inorganic acids, waste lubrication oil, chemical waste, chemicals and/or any other harmful substances.

Fuel has to comply with requirements of MARPOL 73/78 Annex VI and federal regulations if applicable and any subsequent amendments thereof.

Sludge removal to be for Charterers’ account and time.

EU Emissions Trading System

All costs, expenses, allowances, charges, taxes, penalties, levies or the like (hereafter collectively and separately referred to as ‘ Costs ’ ) imposed upon or otherwise impacting the vessel and/ or the ship owner and/ or ISM manager and/or any demise charterer(s) (always
including the Owner under this Charter party, and hereafter for this clause collectively and separately referred to as ‘the Owner ’ ) pursuant to an EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) or any other greenhouse gas emissions scheme implemented by the IMO or any national
governments including that of the vessel ’ s flag state shall be for the Charterer 's account and the Charterer shall hold harmless and indemnify the Owner in respect of any such Costs that may be imposed upon the Owner.
